WELCOME TO OUR BAKERY!
I am so excited to share our wonderful treats with your furry friends. This has been a long time coming and I am thrilled to be baking full time again. I started baking treats for my dogs in 1997 and began giving them to my family and friends as well. I rapidly discovered that our family and friend's dogs were eating them faster than I could bake them at home so A Barker's Dozen was born.
While serving as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps, I was diagnosed with cancer. I was determined to win that battle and began a life time of research on how to eat healthy and raise my odds of surviving. After surviving cancer twice, I also set out to see how I could help my family and my dogs eat more healthy as well. This is where the all natural recipes started. Over the years I have continued working with a variety of ingredients to help dogs with allergies live healthier, happier lives.

Just like people, animals can have reactions to processed foods. I decided over 25 years ago that putting the right ingredients into the treats for my puppies was very important. Various combinations of the listed ingredients are in the different flavors.
